Who can import car without importing tax (free importing tax) - The oversea Vietnamese holding foreign passport whom are permitted by Vietnam authority to return to motherland. - The Vietnamese citizen whom are working for public service such as Parliament, Government, People's Supreme Procuracy,People's Supreme Court, Ministries, organizations equivalent to ministry, People's Committee of Provinces or Cities are appointed for oversea mission, working, specialist with the time over three years (excluding postgraduates, n-the-job trainees,Students learning abroad and employees) Importing procedure - Document of applied importing which is certificated of local authority or direct control office. - Permission of governmental office which permits return to motherland or pointed for oversea mission - Passport - Car registered certificate issued by the original country. The minimum time of the certificate is six months before coming back to Vietnam. - Driving license - Shipping invoice Condition of car importing - Car with driving wheel on the left. The date of made maximum five years counted from the date of importing to Vietnam.
